Hi! My name is Lindsey. I was born and raised near the beaches of California, and now I’m growing my family in the mountains of Utah. I’ve chosen to educate my family on a more sustainable and natural way of living. Homesteading is the perfect way to do it!

Our current modern “homestead” looks a little different than most homesteads. We are not 100% self-sustainable or probably ever will be. Juggling a modern life, and a sustainable one has its challenges and advantages. But I’ve learned how to maximize my efforts in the city. The diverse culture I was raised in combined with the unique culture we currently live in has taught me so much!

My mixed ethnicity along with my husband’s own various roots influences the way we guide our unique homestead. The pillars of homesteading are the perfect way to pass on the knowledge of each heritage to our kids.
